
BrandMaker raises €23m for international expansion
Pinova Capital and L-Bank have committed €23m to BrandMaker, a German software-as-a-service (SaaS) business for marketeers.
The fresh funding will be used to develop the company's technology and continue its international expansion, with particular focus on the US.
L-Bank, the state development bank of Baden-Württemberg, invested via its €500m L-EA SME Fund. Pinova drew down commitments from Pinova I, which commits €3-15m in companies with revenues of €10-75m.

Founded in 1999 and based in Karlsruhe, BrandMaker provides marketing resource management systems for medium and large organisations. The firm's SaaS product includes modules for brand management, marketing planning, campaign control, digital asset management, advertising material production and management, advertising logistics, and performance evaluation.
Clients include Audi, Commerzbank, EY, Hewlett Packard and Volkswagen. The company employs 185 staff across its European offices. It is also present in Atlanta, Georgia, as BrandMaker Inc.
