Target Partners et al invest in free games
German venture capital firms Target Partners, High-Tech Gründerfonds and Estag Capital AG have invested between €1-10m in a series-A round for GameGenetics.
The investment in the Berlin-based platform and distributor of free-to-play online games will support the company's expansion in UK and US markets.
High-Tech Gründerfonds and Estag Capital have previously invested in the company.

GameGenetics GmbH was founded in Berlin in 2009.
It provides a platform for game developers and publishers to market their games and at the same time hosts a portfolio of 150 games for global traffic and media partners.
Partners include game publishers Bigpoint, Travian Games and Ubisoft. The company employs 25 people.
