US investor Salesforce Ventures backs FinanceFox's $5.5m round
Swiss insurance app FinanceFox has raised a $5.5m financing round led by Salesforce's corporate investment arm, Salesforce Ventures.
AngelList, Idinvest, Seedcamp and Speedinvest also participated in the round.
The company will use the money for marketing efforts and further expansion in Switzerland and Germany.
In Idinvest's latest investment this month, the firm led a €15m series-A financing round for Parisian hospitality booking platform Dayuse.com, alongside French VC Partech Ventures and the company's existing business angel backers.

FinanceFox was founded in 2014 and is based in Zurich, with offices in Berlin and Barcelona. The company develops an app that allows insurers and their customers to manage insurance and finance products. FinanceFox combines a technology-based service via the app with advice from insurance consultants. The company has 70 employees.
