HTGF leads seed round for KeyRocket
High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF) has led a seed funding round for keyboard shortcut trainer KeyRocket, the launch product of start-up business Veodin Software.
The fund invested alongside private investor and entrepreneur Michael Brehm. HTGF typically invests €500,000 in seed funding with a possible €1.5m follow-on investment.
The fresh capital will enable the international distribution of KeyRocket. The team will also be expanded to develop the product further, in order to reach more applications and platforms.
Company
Veodin was founded by two German software developers, Matthias Mayrock and Jan Mechtel, in 2011.
Since then, the pair have developed their launch product, KeyRocket, a software solution that teaches users how to save time by applying shortcuts in their everyday computer usage. The Berlin-based business has grown into a team of eight since inception. It started selling its product to companies and individual customers in 2012.
