Project A et al. in seven-digit series-A for Loopline
German HR software developer Loopline has held the second closing for its seven-digit series-A from business angels and existing backers Project A Ventures, High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF) and others.
The second closing saw business angels Constanze Buchheim, Martina Weiner, Paul Schwarzholz and Björn Kolbmüller join the company's investor base. Schwarzholz and Kolbmüller are the founders of startup Flaconi, and decided to invest after using Loopline's product for their own business.
Increasing their commitments were existing backers Project A, VC Fonds Technologie Berlin II – managed by IBB Beteiligungsgesellschaft – HTGF and Monkfish Equity.
Previous funding
The series-A's first closing was held in October 2015, when Project A, IBB, HTGF and business angels invested a seven-digit sum in the startup.
Project A provided the seed funding for Loopline.
Company
In 2014, Loopline spun out of Project A, where the company's founder Nora Heer managed the human resources department. The people analytics management tool was initially developed for Project A and was later developed into an independent product. Loopline's customers include Mister Spex, Flaconi and Outfittery, as well as mid-sized German businesses and advisory firms. The company has 25 employees and is based in Berlin.
