HTGF backs Inreal Technologies
High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF) has backed virtual architecture company Inreal Technologies with a growth capital injection, alongside two private investors.
Inreal plans to broaden its product portfolio following the round of funding.
HTGF currently invests via High-Tech Gründerfonds II, a venture fund that held its final close on €301.5m in January this year.
Prior to this latest funding round, Inreal Technologies was backed by government funding programme Exist and German research institution Karlsruher Institut für Technologie.
Company
Inreal offers its clients tools to visualise architecture through 3D content and hardware. It produces goggles with integrated screens, which enable future building owners to virtually discover the residential or commercial housing while it is in planning and decision-making phases.
The company was founded in 2011 by Thomas Schander and Moritz Luck. Inreal currently employs 15 staff.
