Redalpine invests in Trekksoft
Swiss venture firm Redalpine has invested $800,000 in Trekksoft, an online tour and activity marketplace.
Redalpine is the first institutional investor in Trekksoft. It invested via its Redalpine Capital II fund.
Private investors include Adrian Locher, founder and COO of DeinDeal.ch, who will sit on Trekksoft's board of directors.
Company
Trekksoft was founded in 2010 but only fully launched last year. It hosts a B2B online platform that tour providers can use to manage their prices, capacity and sales channels. It currently hosts around 3,000 trips, provided by more than 200 global travel agencies.
The firm is based in Interlaken, Switzerland. Its sales headquarters are based in New York.
