HTGF et al in series-B for Customer Alliance
High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF), Mountain Super Angel, K5 Ventures and netSTART Venture have invested in a second round for Berlin-based software-as-a-service provider Customer Alliance.
The funding round followed a €500,000 seed investment from HTGF with additional investment from Mountain Super Angel in 2011. HTGF typically invests €1.5m in follow-up investments. The company plans to expand in Europe.

Customer Alliance is an online survey service for hotel guests. It was founded by Moritz Klussmann, Torsten Sabel and Chanyu Xu in Berlin in 2010. The business is currently used by around 1,000 hotels in Germany and broke even this year. Investors expect the company's turnover to quadruple in 2012.

Investment manager Christine Schmidl worked on the deal for HTGF alongside Ingo Drexler of Mountain Super Angel, Philipp von dem Knesebeck of K5 Ventures and business angel Tobias Kollmann, who is director of netSTART Venture.
