HTGF injects €500,000 into Lockbox
High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF) has invested around €500,000 in Berlin-based Lockbox’s seed funding round.
HTGF invests €500,000 at the seed stage and can invest a further €1.5m in subsequent funding rounds. The venture capital backer is currently investing its €304m HTGF II vehicle.
Company
Founded in May 2013, Lockbox provides customers with a delivery system allowing packages to be securely deposited at a home address. The first phase of product development was completed in April this year and has now filed for a European patent. Lockbox is now delivering to customers in Berlin and is set to expand into more German cities in Q1 2015. Lockbox has five employees.
