Project A, Capnamic and IBB back CrossEngage's seed round
Berlin-based marketing technology startup CrossEngage has raised a seven-digit seed round from Project A Ventures, Capnamic Ventures, IBB Beteiligungsgesellschaft and other investors.
Heilemann Ventures, Ventech, TA Ventures, Voltage Ventures and business angels also backed the round. The company plans to invest the fresh capital into product development and marketing activities.
From its $110m fund, Project A backs mainly seed and series-A rounds of companies in the marketplace, e-commerce, software-as-a-service and infrastructure solutions sectors.

Founded in 2015 and based in Berlin, CrossEngage provides a cloud-based software that enables companies to direct their marketing campaigns across different channels. The co-ordinated appeals are distributed through e-mail, Facebook, WhatsApp and postcards. CrossEngage gathers and consolidates user data and offers advice on which appeals to send to whom through which channels. The company has 20 employees.
