Earlybird et al. back EyeEm
Earlybird Venture Capital and existing investors have injected $6m into EyeEm, a German mobile photography community.
Wellington Partners and Passion Capital also participated in this round. The two firms co-led a seed funding round of less than £5m for EyeEm in August 2011. Wellington invested via the Wellington Partners IV fund, while Passion Capital provided equity via its maiden fund. Christophe Maire, EyeEm's executive chairman, also participated in the seed round.
EyeEm's full marketplace offering will be launched later this year.
