Battery Ventures buys IHS from Kings Park Capital
Kings Park Capital has exited German marketing company IHS to a newco backed by Battery Ventures, reaping a 3.8x gross money multiple.
The sale is the first full exit by Kings Park from its maiden fund, which held a final close in October 2008.
The deal follows a decision by the company to initiate a sale process late last year.
During Kings Park's holding period, growth was driven by investing in management talent, products and services, customer base growth and improved cost and working capital controls, the GP stated.
Battery Ventures is a US-based technology-focused investment fund.
