
Hannoverimpuls invests in CouchCommerce
Hannoverimpuls has backed CouchCommerce, a software-as-a-service (Saas) platform that converts online shops into apps, alongside angels network Venturepreneurs.
The German venture capital firm invested via its Hannover Beteiligungs-Fond vehicle.
The fresh capital will be used to build up CouchCommerce's product range of customised apps for web shops. The firm is also aiming to start working together with developers and agencies.
Hannoverimpuls is a German VC founded in 2003 through an initiative by the city and the region of Hannover. It focuses on information and communications technology, optical technologies, and the automotive, energy solutions, life sciences and production engineering sectors.

The firm has worked with around 500 clients so far. Its services are available in Germany, England, Italy, Spain and France.
