Triton sells Dunkermotoren to Ametek
Triton Partners has sold German electronics company Dunkermotoren to US manufacturer Ametek.
Triton acquired Dunkermotoren from Alcatel-Lucent in an €145m all-equity deal in January 2010. Prior to completion, the deal value was expected to amount to €200m. Alcatel had acquired the business in 1987.
Ametek is an American manufacturer of electronic instuments and electromechanical devices with annualised sales of $3.3bn.

Dunkermotoren is a German speciality electronics manufacturer, based in Bonndorf, Germany. Other branches of the business are located in Taicang, China, Chicago, US, and Subotica, Serbia. Its 2012 revenues are expected to amount to €155m.
The company produces high-precision electric drives. It caters to customers in the building, energy and medical technology sectors and industrial automation.
