
DN Capital backs Movago’s €7m series-A
DN Capital has led a €7m series-A for German moving service Movago.
The VC invested alongside Holtzbrinck Ventures and Piton Capital as well as business angels Philipp Magin, Ronny Lange, Christian Bertermann, Hakan Koc and Christopher Muhr.
Movago will use the funds to invest in its technology and to expand domestic and international operations.
Previous funding
In August 2015, Holtzbrinck and Piton led a seven-digit seed round for Movago.
Company
Founded in August 2015 and based in Berlin, Movago offers moving services for private and corporate customers. It executes move jobs itself and also acts as an intermediary between other move services and customers. The company employs 100 people and operates across Germany, Austria, France, the UK and Italy.
People
Carsten Bild and Maximilian Lanig are the founders of Movago. Nenad Marovac is managing partner at DN. In conjunction with the funding, Marovac joined Movago's board of directors.
