Argos Soditic's ASC IH makes four bolt-ons
Education provider ASC International House (ASC IH), backed by Argos Soditic, has acquired two education businesses and two private schools.
ASC IH has acquired education businesses Tutorplus and Key English School, and private schools ISM and EPM, since the firm was bought by Argos Soditic in an MBO in May 2012.
ASC IH received fresh capital from Argos Soditic for the acquisitions, which were also financed via a new debt package.
Argos Soditic's buyout of ASC IH was financed via its Euroknights VI vehicle, which held its final close on €400m in December 2010. Around a quarter of the fund is currently invested. The original transaction was valued between €25-50m.
As ASC IH is actively pursuing a buy-and-build strategy, the firm will acquire further bolt-ons in the future.
