
Waterland's RHM Kliniken acquires Heinrich Mann clinic
RHM Kliniken, a healthcare provider backed by Waterland Private Equity Investments, has acquired the Heinrich Mann clinic as part of its buy-and-build strategy.
The acquisition was financed by Waterland, which typically focuses on buy-and-build investments. The group of clinics plans to work closely together to grow and develop new offerings.
Waterland acquired RHM Kliniken in May 2011. Since then, the group has expanded organically and bought a clinic in Bad Mergentheim in December 2011. The GP plans to grow RHM Kliniken two or three-fold in the coming years.

RHM Kliniken operates rehabilitation clinics, specialised acute clinics and care homes across 10 sites in Germany. The group is capable of treating a total of 2,400 patients and employs 1,500 people.
Bad Liebenstein-based Heinrich Mann clinic adds 270 beds and 260 staff to the group. The clinic mainly provides rehabilitation services in neurology and orthopaedy.
