HTGF invests in PS Biotech
High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF) has backed PS Biotech, a manufacturer of special microtiter plates for the screening of micro-organisms.
The German VC previously backed PS Biotech in June this year in a seed financing round.
The firm is expected to launch its product on the market in Autumn this year.
HTGF currently holds 39 biotech start-ups in its portfolio.
Company
PS Biotech is a spin-off from RWTH Aachen and the DWI at RWTH Aachen. It was founded in May 2013.
The firm produces special microtiter plates, which enable a more realistic screening of micro-organisms. The firm produces a polymer-based release system, allowing a fed-batch feeding of micro-organisms.
