b-to-v backs Seven Senders
German logistics startup Seven Senders has raised a seven-digit funding round from b-to-v Partners and business angels.
The company intends to use the fresh capital to expand into more European countries and to improve its IT systems, especially in parcel monitoring. Additional hires are also planned.
For b-to-v, Seven Senders is the VC's first investment in a logistics company. The majority of its investments in the past have been in the internet and software sectors. Its last activity was a $2m series-A extension together with Target Global for German rental startup Nestpick in December 2015.
Company
Founded in 2015 and based in Berlin, Seven Senders provides a solution for cross-border shipments within Europe. The company stated it accomplishes transportation at low cost by combining shipments from multiple online shops.
It manages shipments from the pick-up of parcels at the warehouse to the last mile delivery to customers, as well as parcel returns.
