
HTGF et al. invest €1m in Data Virtuality
High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF) and Technologiegründerfonds Sachsen (TGFS) have invested €1m in German software start-up Data Virtuality.
HTGF typically invests €500,000 in seed investments and a further €1.5m follow-up investment at later stages. TGFS is a €60m venture capital fund that invests in early-stage high-tech businesses in the free state of Saxony. Since its inception in 2008 the fund has backed 30 businesses.

Data Virtuality is in the process of bringing its lead product, Data Virtualizer, to market in the consulting and e-commerce sectors. The product is a software for business use that collects and collates data from various sources and automatically creates customer-tailored data warehouses. The company is based in Leipzig.
