Pyramid Computer GmbH (Germany) - Dec 2007
eCapital entrepreneurial Partners AG has acquired a significant minority in Pyramid Computer GmbH as lead investor, with an IT entrepreneur also contributing. The contact was sourced through the investor’s extended network.
Major factors that attracted the investors were the company’s ability to provide custom made solutions for a highly complex market, the company’s know-how in the field, as well as long-running service contracts held by Pyramid Computer.
eCapital will act as a hands-on investor and support the company strategically. Pyramid Computer will now expand distribution inside the EU and US, after already providing services to clients in France and Italy. Establishing an office in the US and further buy-and-build acquisitions are high on the agenda.
