HTGF invests in Microstim
HTGF, Technologiefonds MV and Fides Finanz-Invest have invested €1.5m in medical technology company Microstim.
The capital will be used for further development and the first clinical application, which is planned for 2012.
The investor was convinced by the significant development the company achieved since receiving seed funding.
Company
Wismar-based Microstim has developed tissue-maintaining and function-preserving implantable muscle stimulators for muscle powered cardiac assistance. The business was founded in 2007 in Lübeck and moved to Wismar in 2011.

Bernd Goergen is senior investment manager at High-Tech Gründerfonds and Uwe Bräuer is managing director at Technologiefonds MV.
