HTGF and Born2Grow back Preventicus
High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF) and Born2Grow have injected around €1m into Jena-based Preventicus as part of a seed financing round.
The cash injection of approximately €1m will be used for the company's market entry in the second half of 2015. Preventicus is also developing its products and app portal.
According to the company, up to 30% of victims do not survive a heart attack.
Born2Grow is a venture capital fund based in Heilbronn. It initially invests up to €500,000 in high-tech companies in the IT, automotive, life sciences, medical technology and telecommunications sectors.
Company
Founded in May 2014, Preventicus captures and analyses patient data for early preclinical risk screening of lifestyle-related diseases, such as heart attacks, strokes or illnesses relating to burn-out and stress. It is developing signal analysis algorithms for heart rate variability and pulse wave analysis.
