DBAG's Romaco buys Innojet
Deutsche Beteiligungs (DBAG) portfolio company Romaco has acquired Innojet Herbert Hüttlin, a German developer of components for coating and granulating systems, from its founder.
Innojet has been renamed Romaco Innojet and will be a fully owned subsidiary of Romaco.
Romaco financed the acquisition using its own resources, with no additional funding being provided by DBAG.
Following the acquisition, Romaco will employ around 500 staff. The company generated €113m in turnover last year.
Previous investment
DBAG acquired Romaco in a management buyout in April 2011, with the deal valuing the company at €61m.

Founded in 1997 and headquartered in Steinen, Innojet is a manufacturer of core components for coating and granulating systems.
It serves the chemicals, food, pharmaceuticals and confectionary industries. Products include tablets, pellets and powders.
The company employs 55 staff. It generated revenues of €8m in 2014.
People
Paulo Alexandre is the CEO of Romaco, while Herbert Hüttlin is the founder of Innojet.
