
Holtzbrinck et al. invest €11m in Springlane
German kitchen equipment online shop Springlane has raised €11m from existing backers Holtzbrinck, Tengelmann, KfW and Heliad.
Also participating in the round were new backers Ad4Ventures, Ithaca and TriPos.
The fresh capital will be used for further expansion across Europe. Springlane is operating in Austria and Italy as of 2015 and will target Switzerland next.
The company stated it will start its next funding round soon, given the strong interest it has received from investors.
Ad4Ventures is the venture capital arm of Silvio Berlusconi's Mediaset group. Ithaca operates for an Italian family office that is also connected to the former Italian president.
