
Sentica’s Citec buys TGB
Sentica portfolio company Citec, a Finnish engineering services business, has acquired German engineering company Technisches Gemeinschaftsbüro (TGB) from Siemens.
The acquisition is designed to strengthen Citec's presence in Germany and will further the buildup of Citec's energy, process and manufacturing industry operations in the country.
Around 40 TGB employees currently provide technical engineering for Siemens' rail vehicles business. Citec will continue developing TGB's business operations in Kassel, Germany.

Founded in 1922 and headquartered in Kassel, TGB provides rail vehicle and aircraft interior engineering, as well as standardisation services for the German Railway Standardisation Committee (FSF).
TGB employs 80 people. The company's annual turnover is close to €7m.
