
Creathor et al. back Klara
Creathor Venture, Partech Ventures and Heilemann Ventures have taken part in a €2m funding round for Berlin-based Klara.
Entrepreneur Stephan Schambach and existing investor Atlantic Labs also participated in the funding round. The fresh capital has been earmarked for US expansion and improvements to the Klara platform.
Company
Founded in 2013, Klara aims to improve communication between doctors and patients. It has created an app enabling doctors to advise patients on treatment before, during and after their appointment.
Aside from its Berlin headquarters, the company also has a New York office.
People
Simon Bolz and Simon Lorenz are co-founders of Klara. Pawel Schapiro is an investment manager at Creathor Venture.
