
HTGF backs Cloudplan
High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF) has taken part in a six-digit seed round for file storage developer Cloudplan.
Business angel Marcus Opitz, who has a background in private equity, also invested in the company through his firm OP Advisory.
With the fresh capital, the Hamburg-based company aims to further develop its product and to accelerate its market entry.
Cloudplan marks HTGF's ninth investment in September, making it the investor's busiest month in 2015 so far.

Founded in 2014 and headquartered in Hamburg, Cloudplan develops a software-as-a-service application connecting the PCs and servers of a company to a data storage network. Companies can build their private network storage, organise backups and integrate cloud storage. The company employs 12 engineers.
