Deutsche Boerse leads $20m Zimory investment
Berlin-based cloud management software business Zimory has secured $20m in funding led by new investor Deutsche Boerse.
Existing investors Creathor Venture, High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF), IBB Beteiligungsgesellschaft (IBB), KfW and T-Venture also participated in the investment.
The funding will be used to expand the company geographically. Furthermore, it will build on the partnership between Zimory and Deutshe Boerse for a vendor-neutral management platform for the cloud services market place.
Previous funding
Zimory received a €4m investment from HTGF and VC Fonds Technologie Berlin in October 2010.
Company
Established in 2007, Zimory provides cloud infrastructure management software that enables communication service providers, businesses and cloud brokers to optimise the power and flexibility of cloud computing.
The company is headquartered in Berlin and has offices in Erfurt, Misk and New York.

Maximilian Ahrens has been appointed CTO of Deutsche Boerse Cloud Exchange.
