Goldman Sachs et al. back GoEuro's $45m series-B
German transport booking platform GoEuro has raised $45m from a group of investors led by Goldman Sachs.
British VC Atomico Ventures and several business angels also took part in the round as new backers. Previous backers Battery Ventures and NEA Ventures from the US, and Swiss VC Lakestar committed to the series-B as well.
The company will use the fresh capital to add new partners to its platform, continue its product development and hire new staff.
Previous funding
In September 2014, GoEuro raised a $27m series-A led by NEA. Existing backers Battery, Hasso Plattner Ventures and Lakestar, which had backed the company's $4m seed round in March 2013, also participated.
