
Lead Equities-backed JCL acquires Wincanton
Lead Equities-owned JCL Logistics has made an add-on acquisition with service provider Wincanton BV.
The transaction is the seventh bolt-on acquisition since Lead Equities took a 49% stake in JCL in 2008.
Graz-based JCL provides contract logistics services in the fields of sea/air, road/rail, fashion and furniture. The company currently employs 1,700 people and has a turnover of more than €450m.
Wincanton is a provider of product and freight logistics services in the Netherlands and beyond. In 2010, the company had a turnover of €100m.
