
HTGF backs altusInsight
High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF) has injected around €500,000 into Berlin-based big data company altusInsight.
The financing will enable the software to be made available to the general public as a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform.
HTGF is currently investing its €304m HTGF II fund. It provides start-ups with €500,000 at the seed stage, with the capacity to invest a further €1.5m in follow-on funding rounds.

Founded in early 2013, altusInsight has developed the cloud-based LambdaNow software to process big data. The company, which has a management team of three people, also offers consulting services for its users.
