Apax France promotes four
Apax France has promoted Samuel Bafourd to chief information officer, Sophie Uzan to human resources and ESG director, Jean-Christophe Bergé to principal and Antoine Desjeux to associate.
Samuel Bafourd, previously IT manager for the GP, was promoted to chief information officer.
Formerly Apax France's human resources manager, Sophie Uzan was appointed HR & ESG director. She will work closely with the management teams of portfolio companies to help them define and conduct their ESG strategy.

In the GP's Apax Partners Development team, Jean-Christophe Bergé was promoted to principal. Bergé started his career in 2007 with Deloitte, first as a financial auditor and then in transaction services, before joining EPF Partners in 2012. He joined Apax last year, when it acquired EPF Partners.

Antoine Desjeux has become an associate in the Development team. He started his career as an auditor at Mazars and then in the private equity industry at Turenne Capital before joining EPF Partners in 2016.

Apax acquired EPF Partners, a French private equity firm focusing on small-cap deals, last year. Named Apax Partners Development and headed by the current EPF team, the platform invests primarily as a majority investor in companies valued at up to €100m based mostly in France, though occasionally in other European countries
In September 2017, the GP appointed Damien de Bettignies and Guillaume Cousseran as partners.
