
Apax France nominates two new partners

France-based Apax Partners has promoted Damien de Bettignies and Guillaume Cousseran to partner.
Bettignies joined the firm's TMT team in 2007 from McKinsey & Company, where he worked as a consultant for three years, focusing on the Benelux, French and German markets.
Prior to that, he worked at Natixis Private Equity as an investment manager, focusing on venture capital investments, and started his career in 1999 with consulting firm EY as a financial auditor.
Guillaume Cousseran, Apax Partners
Following his promotion, Cousseran will be in charge of business development and investor relations. He joined the firm in 2006 as a senior associate from the French investment banking division of Lehman Brothers. He worked as an associate at the bank for four years, focusing on M&A, IPOs and LBO transactions.
At Apax, he was promoted to principal in January 2009 and subsequently to director in December 2012.
France-based Apax Partners raised €1bn for its latest buyout fund, Apax France IX, earlier this year.
