
EQT opens office in Paris
Nordic private equity firm EQT has opened a new office in Paris.
In tandem, EQT partner Nicolas Brugère will take up the role of head of EQT France. He has 14 years of experience in French and European private equity.
The Paris team will support investments across all of EQT's core sectors and strategies, and will initially consist of 10 investment advisory professionals, including Rania Belkahia, deal partner in EQT Ventures; and Sébastien Morizot, director in EQT Real Estate.
EQT currently holds seven investments in France, including EQT Infrastructure's water management company, SAUR; and EQT Ventures' investments in CallDesk, an AI-powered virtual agent, and TinyClues, an AI-driven customer marketing service.
