Eurazeo to manage €420m Nov Santé healthcare fund
Listed private equity firm Eurazeo has been mandated to manage the Nov Santé Actions Non Cotées fund for French healthcare companies.
The €420m vehicle was launched by the French Insurance Federation (FFA) and Caisse des Dépôts to commit to projects in the healthcare sector in France.
According to Les Echos, the GP will be responsible for investing in 15-20 French SMEs and mid-cap companies in the healthcare sector.
The Nov Santé fund will focus on increasing the country's health and industrial sovereignty by investing primarily in research, industry and healthcare services.
The fund will also seek to pick up the pace of the digital transformation in the industry to improve access to healthcare through telemedicine, prevent disease by harnessing big data and artificial intelligence, and reinforce the coordination between healthcare providers.
