EdRIP invests €2.5m in Aventi
Edmond de Rothschild Investment Partners has taken a 29% stake in film distributor Aventi for €2.5m.
The investment was made through EdRIP's small cap funds. The distribution outsourcing trend among large producers and the rise of independent editors led EdRIP to foresee strong growth prospects for the business, with the aim of taking turnover from €18m to €40m within five years.
Founded in 2003, Aventi Distribution is an independent video content publisher based in Nogent-sur-Marne. With 3,000 titles in its catalogue and a customers list of 2,000 retailers, Aventi generates a €18m turnover.
