SEB Ventures et al. invest €6.6m in Mobile Tag
New investor SEB Ventures has joined existing backers Alven Capital and XAnge Private Equity in a €6.6m funding round for French marketing software company Mobile Tag.
Neuilly-sur-Seine-based Mobile Tag was established in 2006 and employs 55 staff, both in France and the US. It develops direct marketing tools for mobile applications, notably in relation to the scanning of barcodes via mobile devices.
The company will use the fresh funds to develop its marketing offering and to bolster its sales team.
