BNP Paribas Private Equity injects €2.2m in Resavacs
BNP Paribas PE has invested €2.2m in rental website editor Resavacs.
This is the first round of fundraising for Resacs, which received €500,000 from business angels in 2009. The funds will allow the company to strengthen its PR budget, expand internationally and improve penetration for its free search engine.
Founded in 2008, Resavacs publishes the anyresa.com website, a meta-search engine that specializes in seasonal vacation rentals. The portal offers more than 200,000 rentals and 35 million trips, has 300,000 registered members, and records an average of 1 million unique visitors per month.
