
EdRIP invests €2m in Garden Price
Edmond de Rothschild Investment Partners (EdRIP) has provided French garden goods retailer Garden Price with €2m of funding.
The private equity house invested via its small-cap funds, securing a 25% stake in the business following a competitive process. The fresh capital will be used to finance the opening of new stores across the country; Garden Price is aiming to post a €25m turnover by 2015.
Founded in 2006, Garden Price is a retailer of discount garden goods based in Maurepas. Its five stores located in the Paris region and its website generated a €6m turnover in 2009.
