Argos Soditic promotes two in Paris office
Mid-market GP Argos Soditic has promoted Frédéric Quéru and Raphaël Bazin to investment manager positions in its Paris office.
Quéru joined Argos Soditic in 2008, following a stint at the M&A unit of Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking.
During his time at Argos Soditic, Quéru has worked on the management buyouts of Lexsi in October 2008 and Marchegay Technologies in October 2011. Last year, Quéru worked on the carve-out of four Sage subsidiaries by Argos Soditic.
Bazin joined the firm in 2010 as an associate. He joined following a four-year stint at fellow private equity firm PAI partners, as well as a year at London-based fund-of-hedge-funds manager Atlas Capital Group.
Last November, Bazin worked on the €25m MBO of French biotech Cisbio Bioassays. He also manages the firm's investment in French IT firm Orsyp.
Towards the end of last year, Argos announced the opening of its new Brussels office. The firm is entering the Benelux market, seeking complex transactions such as corporate carve-outs, and will initially focus on Belgium before expanding into the rest of the region.
