LBO France delays fundraising effort
French mid-cap GP LBO France has pushed back the launch of its next €1.5bn White Knight IX vehicle - which was supposed to take place in Q1 - to Q3 2012, according to French publication Capital Finance.
The firm told Capital Finance the move was partly motivated by the difficulty in marketing a euro-denominated fund to US investors at the moment.
LBO France's previous fund, White Knight VIII, closed on €900m in late 2008. It is believed to be invested at around 80%.
LBO France could not be reached for comment.
