Trilantic exit MW Brands in trade sale worth £566m
Trilantic Capital Partners has agreed to sell MW Brands to Thai Union Frozen Products in a deal worth ТЃ566m.
MW Brands owns John West canned tuna and French canned fish brands Petit Navire and Mareblu. Trilantic acquired the company in July 2006 in a buyout worth €425m.
MW Brands operates in 38 countries and had a turnover of €448m in the year to the end of March.
