Adents raises €12m from Omnes, Naxicap, Caphorn
Adents, a Paris-based serilisation and traceability software provider, has raised €12m in a late-stage funding round led by Naxicap Partners, Omnes Capital and Caphorn Invest.
This latest funding round brings the total amount raised by Adents to €25m, of which €20m was secured over the last 18 months. All three investors had already taken part in a €8.5m expansion round back in June 2015. The company's management remains invested in the group.
The fresh capital should help Adents accelerate its international rollout and develop partnerships abroad, with a particular focus on the US, the Middle East and Asia.
The company had announced a strategic collaboration with Siemens earlier this year. Future partners for the group will mainly include System Integrators & Technology Partners.
Previous funding
In June 2015, Naxicap, Caphorn and Omnes took part in a €8.5m funding round alongside company management. Naxicap led the round with a €3.5m contribution, followed by €2m from management, while Omnes and CapHorn each deployed €1.5m. Adents intended to use the fresh capital to finance expansion across the European and North American markets, following the opening of subsidiaries Adents Canada and Adents US.
Prior to that, Naxicap had injected €1m into the company via its €8.4m BP Creation fund in February 2011, while Caphorn had added €2m in May 2013.
