
Cathay and BPI France invest in AD Education
Cathay Capital and BPI France have invested in French education group AD Education.
Kevin Guenegan, son of the founders, will continue to hold a majority share following the deal.
The group will use the fresh capital to increase its range of digital learning products and undertake international expansion. It aims to open new campuses in Europe and to attract more international students, with a particular focus on students from China and the US.
Company
Created in 1990 and based in Paris, AD Education owns higher education institutions. The group has 5,000 students across seven institutions and 11 campuses, including one in Italy. It generates a turnover of €35m.
