BPI, Piton, Alven et al. in €7m round for MeilleursAgents.com
BPI France, Piton Capital and Alven Capital have joined a €7m round for French real estate price comparison site MeilleursAgents.com.
Piton and BPI (investing from the digital-focused fund Fonds Ambition Numérique) are acting as new investors in the round, joining the pool of existing backers comprising Alven and various business angels.
According to French financial website Capital Finance, MeilleursAgents.com has registered a 40% year-on-year growth in recent years. With the latest round, the group will look to further expand its platform and enlarge its customer base, currently counting 5,000 private and real estate agency customers.
Previous funding
Business angels had initially provided €1m of seed funding to the startup in 2008. In 2009, Alven backed a €2m round for MeilleursAgents.com, alongside the firm's original business angels, who invested approximately €1m of the total. Alven invested via its €100m third fund.
