Arve Industries Capital, BPI in €5m round for AlpenTech
Arve Industries Capital and BPI France have taken part in a €5m second round of funding for precision engineering group AlpenTech.
The two GPs joined existing backers Crédit Agricole des Savoie Capital and Banque Populaire Auvergne Rhône Alpes (BP Aura), which had first invested in the company upon inception in 2010.
Arve Industries Capital, an FPCI fund managed by Amundi Private Equity, invested €3.5m in the round, while BPI France contributed €1m.
AlpenTech will use the fresh funding to expand into new locations, including the US, Asia and Mexico through a joint venture.
