
XAnge, Kima in €7m series-A for Ledger

XAnge Private Equity and Kima Ventures have participated in a €7m round of series-A funding for Parisian blockchain and cryptocurrency startup Ledger.
The round was led by Maif Avenir and featured a total of 10 investors contributing to Ledger's second round of funding, bringing the total raised by the startup to €8.5m.
In addition to MAIF Avenir, XAnge and Kima Ventures, the investment saw participation from Wicklow Capital, GDTRE, Libertus Capital, Digital Currency Group, The Whittemore Collection, BHB Network and Nicolas Pinto.
With the fresh capital in hand, Ledger plans to launch its business-targeted cryptocurrency security services.
