
BNP Paribas, Normandie Participations inject €2m into Alticap
BNP Paribas Developement and Normandie Participations have taken part in a funding round for French IT firm Alticap.
BNP Paribas invested €1.5m and Normandie Participations provided €500,000, according to a spokesperson for the latter.
In addition, BNP Paribas, CIC and BPI France provided €2m in debt as part of the round.
Alticap confirmed that the company's existing shareholders will retain a majority of the shares.
Previous funding
Normandie Capital Investissement backed the company in 2015. It has not increased its invested capital in this round of funding.

Founded in 2000 and based in Fleury-sur-Orne, Alticap is an IT firm specialising in management and integration services for SMEs. Its products support businesses in areas such as payroll management, trade and logistics, accounting and financial management, CRM and IT security.
According to a press release, the company has enjoyed a 10% annual growth over the past 10 years.
