Partech leads €10m series-A for Shippeo
Partech Ventures has led a €10m series-A funding round for Paris-based logistics software company Shippeo.
Existing investor Otium also took part in the latest round of financing.
Partech drew capital for the investment from its €400m growth fund, Partech International Ventures VII, which held a final close on its hard-cap in June 2016.
The fresh capital will be used to continue Shippeo's growth in the French market, hire an extra 40 people and expand into Germany in the first quarter of 2018.
Previous funding
Otium led a €2m seed round for Shippeo in March 2016. Kerala Ventures and Le Studio VC also took part in the first round of financing.
Company
Shippeo was founded in 2014 and is headquartered in Paris. It has developed a real-time transport visibility platform that shippers can use to track their deliveries. It tracks 40,000 deliveries per month and connects with more than 600 carriers.
